Your contact details so employers can reach you — use an email address you check often.
2–3 short sentences about you: your experience, your strengths, and the role you want. e.g. “Friendly care assistant with 3 years’ experience supporting older people at home.”
Give your job title, employer and dates (e.g. “2022 – present”). In details, write short achievement-style points with numbers where you can — e.g. “Served 60+ customers a day” or “Trained 3 new staff”. Most recent job first.
List your most relevant qualifications — school, college, courses or training — with the place and dates. Short courses count too, e.g. “Food Hygiene Level 2, 2023”.
Add 5–10 things you’re good at, separated by commas — e.g. “Excel, teamwork, customer service, full driving licence”. Mix practical skills with people skills.
Ask people who can vouch for your work — a past manager, tutor or colleague. Always ask their permission first. Or tick “references available on request” and share them later.
